IEMA - Institute for research and music acoustics (Griechenland), Co-organiser
The Institute for Research on Music and Acoustics - Greek Music Documentation Centre, is a non-profit, non-government organization, aiming to develop and support research in the field of music and acoustics, support contemporary music creation and provide systematic information and documentation in these domains. Founded in 1989, the Institute is the result of a common initiative from musicians and musicologists who created this organization on the principle of relevant institutions abroad. IEMA has established a permanent cooperative relationship with the Hellenic ministries of Culture, Education, Research and Development. It is a member of the National Music Network (a network of important music institutions in Greece), and is currently the most active organization involved in music research and music information within Greece. More in detail, the objectives of IEMA include scientific research in the fields of music and sound, music documentation, organisation and diffusion of music information, music education, support of original music creation, musicology, audiovisual applications, promotion of contemporary Greek music and preservation of Greek music heritage. IEMA emphasizes on the application of new technologies and the cooperation with European and International Organizations, often as a representative of Greece. Currently, except for DMET project, IEMA is implementing a project on the “Digitisation and promotion of the Greek music heritage” and the “POLYMNIA” research project, concerning the development of innovative software and hardware tools for the music artists and scientists. www.iema.gr

IMZ - International Music and Media Center (Österreich), Co-organiser
The IMZ, based in Vienna, is a global non-profit association founded in 1961 under the aegis of UNESCO. The organisation is dedicated to the worldwide development, dissemination and promotion of music and dance through the audiovisual media. It is a forum for exchange and reflection whose core objectives are to serve as a high-quality advisory body in this industry. In addition, it fulfils the function of a mediator between those organisations and individuals involved and interested in the fields of music and dance. It is the IMZ´s intention to make the performing arts available to a wide audience around the globe and help arts programmes occupy their rightful place in the media. www.imz.at

IMPALA - Independent Music Companies Association (Sitz in Belgien), Co-organiser
The Independent Music Publishers and Labels Association was established in April 2000 at the initiative of prominent independent labels and national trade associations. It is an international non profit-making trade association with a scientific and artistic purpose. Independent record and music publishing labels come together to identify, discuss and liaise on issues of common interest. Impala has over 3500 members including top independents such as Beggars Group (UK), Bonnier Amigo Music Group (Sweden), Cooking Vinyl (UK), Edel Music AG (Germany), Epitaph (Netherlands), Gazell Records (Sweden), !K7 Records (Germany), Naïve (France), Play It Again Sam (Belgium), Playground Music Scandinavia AB (Sweden), Red Bullet Productions (Netherlands), Roadrunner Records International B.V. POLMIC - Polish Music Information Center (Polen), Co-organiser
The Polish Music Information Centre was developed in 2001 from the Library of the Polish Composers’ Union - Polish Contemporary Music Documentation Centre, which for fifty years collected books, scores and records as well as information about contemporary Polish composers and their works. In 1998, the Library became Poland’s representative in the International Association of Music Information Centres (IAMIC). The Polish Music Information Centre has taken over tis role while at the same time continuing all the forms of the Library’s activity. The Centre’s director, Mieczyslaw Kominek (Ph.D.) is a musicologist, sound engineer, journalist, critic and commentator.
